N. WEST STREET / Engraving 50 x 66.5 cm

During their residency at La Métairie Bruyère in 2024, illustrators and graphic designers Adèle Favreau and Maxime Prou created four sugar etchings on unpolished copper plates. This technique creates a fluid brushwork. The use of matte metal and irregular aquatint creates a vibrant, energetic, and powerful result.

Proofs printed on the presses of the RLD workshop in Burgundy.

The slightly offset printing to the right allowed the artists to number, title, and monogram the proofs in pencil.
