Volume I of the “Lisière des mots” collection

This book by Michel Butor accompanied by original graphics by Paolo Boni was printed in 135 copies on Arches vellum, all numbered and signed as follows by the author and the artist:


* 105 copies numbered from 1 to 105,

* 15 copies E.A. justified from I to XV

* 10 chapel copies lettered from A to J reserved for book artisans.

* 5 H.C. copies numbered from H.C. I to H.C. V

The text by Michel Butor, composed in 17th century Elzévir, and the engravings by Paolo Boni were printed on the presses of the Dutrou workshop in 1991.

The colophon is signed by the author and the artist.

Robert and Lydie Dutrou publishers January 1991.

    In addition, the engravings of the book were printed separately, proofs printed with wide margins in 30 copies on Arches vellum.
