*Graphisculpture technique invented by Paolo Boni, halfway between engraving and sculpture. The artist cuts pieces of metal of different materials and thicknesses, which he assembles like a puzzle. For each proof, the intaglio artisan disassembles the sculpture and reassembles all the pieces by hand on the press to ink and print them like an etching, thus creating a three-dimensional graphic. A delicate technique in adjusting the press due to the thickness of the parts.
