The 32 teeth of Hervé Di Rosa

This album is composed of 32 plates of grotesque anatomy engraved with aquaforte printed in 32 copies on Moulin du Gué paper format 33 x 25 cm.

The whole of this work was entirely engraved by the artist in 2007 when he came to residency at the Métairie Bruyère, on the occasion of the exhibition "The grotesque anatomy lesson" hung on the picture rails that same year. of our art center.

This large-scale project desired by Hervé Di Rosa lasted for two years. Indeed beyond this important edition the engraver gave birth to "The hand", "the heart", "The stomach"..., the radiographs of Huguette or Raymond to the "Fisherman" as well as to an issue of our art magazine "En Puisaye"... For this reason the box was therefore finished printing in 2008. The prints are monogrammed by the artist, HDR 07 and the colophon (final note of the work) is signed.

One of the original brass used for the etchings is inlaid on the casing made by hand. / Red canvas case-shirt box, size 27 x 34.6 cm.
