The Dynasty of the Bamoun Kings

    During his 11th stop Around the World, Hervé Di Rosa discovered an exceptional case of graphic art in Cameroon, Africa : the Bamoun designer. Above all, well-read, the designer “knows how to give meaning and truth to the image”. He translates historical data according to genealogical stories and dynastic symbols (headdresses, weapons, ornaments, architecture).

    A rare and little-disseminated story, accompanied by around twenty illustrations of exceptional sensitivity by Picasso Bamoun.

    Cover printed in lithography on the presses of the RLD workshop on papers of different yellow or ocher tones.
